In Legos, Straws and Cardboard Tubes, Katherine Shangnessy creates abstract wall reliefs utilizing legos, plastic straws, cardboard tubes and other nontraditional media. Intriguing spatial distortions, play of light and pattern all add to the unusual visual effects in her work. Oh, so unique and fun! Runs through June 28.

Sumner & Dene is honored to present Frank McCulloch Annual One Person Show. Frank, the grand-daddy of the arts of Albuquerque, creates the New Mexico atmosphere like no other. His oil landscapes capture that magical moment prior or post a storm when there is a crimson calm. Frank has been awarded The Governor’s Award for the Arts, The Bravos Award, been recognized as a Local Treasure, and has exhibited a retrospective at the Albuquerque Museum.
